The Chicago Architecture Center’s Teen Saturday Studios—generously funded by John and Nancy DiCiurcio—teach core skills essential for a career in architecture and design, from using digital software to building scale models.
The Chicago Architecture Center is happy to re-introduce Saturday Studios. These free, one-off “lectures” serve to introduce teens who are into architecture, construction, engineering, and design to some not so often thought of aspect of those fields. Each session will address something new or at least not so often addressed, through a lens of fun, imagination, and overall different perspective.
Saturday Studios will be hosted by the Chicago Architecture Center and professionals in the field. Teen will be able to interact with other teens across the city, ask questions to someone actively in the field, and have those questions answered. Not only that, but they will be able to pick and choose which sessions they want to attend, with no cost to anyone. Along with learning about new topics, or new about a topic, many seminars will include some activity to create!
