  • August 31, 2022
  • 6:30 PM

Whether it’s violence in our own community or a war across the globe, we are confronted with hatred, prejudice, and indifference every day. Leading experts will share with you how to have meaningful, age-appropriate, and emotionally responsive conversations with your kids.

Nora Flanagan, Chicago Public Schools teacher, member of the Illinois Holocaust and Genocide Commission, and co-author of Confronting White Nationalism in Schools

Keisha Rembert, Assistant Professor of Teacher Preparation at National Louis University, former Illinois History Teacher of the Year, and member of the Illinois Holocaust and Genocide Commission

Moderated by Amanda Friedeman, Assistant Director of Education, Illinois Holocaust Museum.
