Adapted by Jeff Christian, 50-Minute Hamlet presents Shakespeare’s most enduring tragedy. Utilizing just two actors, the play contains many of the Bard’s most famous lines and speeches while retaining his saga’s pathos, poetry, and passion. Starring Kayla Carter and Shane Kenyon; sound design by George Zahora; and produced by Peter Garino.

The Shakespeare Project of Chicago has presented 50-Minute Hamlet to numerous Chicago audiences since its premier in 2002, and it has won the acclaim of adults, students, and teachers alike each time.

This program is sponsored by the Washington Square Park Advisory Council.
