Executive Functioning 101 - Why executive functions are critical to students' success, and how parents can help develop them

Success in education requires that students master much more than content; they must also hone skills such as organization, time management, and effective studying. These fundamental abilities fall under the umbrella of "executive functioning", a set of skills that enable students to focus, plan, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks. By working with students on executive functioning, we help them fulfill their potential in school and set them up for success in academic, entrepreneurial, or personal pursuits. Join this webinar, in which Jenna Prada, M.Ed and director of executive functioning and special education at Private Prep, will discuss how executive functioning skills and executive functioning coaching can help students. She will give you tools to support your child in getting started, maintaining motivation, and working with their personal attention spans.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation via Chat

Cost: $10.00

The charge for this presentation will help keep the Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities newsletter, website, and blog posts FREE.

If you can't watch it live, you will have two weeks to view the presentation through a special link.
