Mini Class: STEAM Challenge

Science & Arts Academy Online Event for Prospective Students

During this 30-minute Mini Class*, students will take on a low-tech, high-impact STEAM challenge led by SAA’s Explore & Create teacher Margie McEvoy. Using their creativity and ingenuity, little builders will share ideas on how to construct paper towers in this engineering adventure! Students will explore tower styles and discover different structural techniques, all within the constraints of simple materials.

Participants need tape, scissors and index cards to participate in the challenge. (If you do not have index cards, old playing cards, cardstock, cut up paper plates, or any other thick paper will work).

*This class is designed especially for students in preschool - 4th grade.
