YOUTH – Inspiration Station: A NaNoWriMo Workshop

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), but even if you’re not participating, we welcome you to join us!

There are so many things to think about when writing a story: where will you set your story? What characters will you create? What is going to happen to each of them? How will your story end?

You may have lots of different ideas swirling around in your head, but not be sure how they will fit together. It’s okay not to have every element of your story decided before you start writing; sometimes the best stories will come out of something completely random conversation or experience.

In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of ‘play’ in our busy lives as well as some exercises you can do to welcome great ideas to work on.

Open to youth in grades 7-12. Free. Click here for complete details and registration.
