Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson

Join us for an evening of stimulating ideas and living world connections. Leave ready to pursue a sustainable and equitable future together as a community. Immersion is our new annual event that connects you with leading voices in the climate movement. 

The inaugural event will feature a virtual, live-streamed conversation between Shedd President and CEO Dr. Bridget C. Coughlin and Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, co-founder of Urban Ocean Lab & co-founder of the All We Can Save Project.

Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, writer and Brooklyn native. She is co-founder of the non-profit think tank Urban Ocean Lab, co-director of the climate initiative The All We Can Save Project and co-host of the podcast How to Save a Planet. Her mission is to build community around climate solutions. Find her @ayanaeliza.
