What's Up King Tut?

  • July 15, 2021
  • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Zoom, Oriental Institute

Join Museums with Marisa as she explores the history of King Tut! Most people have heard of the famous boy king, but don't know very much about him. This program focuses on Pharaoh Tut-Ankh-Amun and explores why he is so famous, the remarkable gold treasures found in his tomb, and the story of how he was discovered in 1922. We virtually explore his entire tomb, learn more about what his daily life may have been like, and celebrate the treasures of King Tut.
