Marine Science in the Morning: Predation and Herbivory in Seagrass Beds

Dr. Olivia Rhoades will be speaking about her work with the Thalassia Experimental Network, an international partnership if 13 academic, nonprofit, government, and community partners in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean examining the effects of fishing, pollution, and climate change on seagrass ecosystem processes and functioning. This work focuses on the feeding behaviors of small- and medium-sized fishes in these areas, how these behaviors vary in space and time across the network, and why.
