Parenting Discussion

"Homeschooling" in the Time of COVID19.

Many of us never imagined we might be homeschooling this year, as our kids were happy to attend school. Even those of us who are homeschoolers are having to find new ways to educate our children.  Let's compare notes and share strategies!

Need ideas right now? Want something to read beforehand? The Washington Post offered this:
Veteran home-schoolers share tips for parents during coronavirus closures

Or perhaps this treatise on taking on homeschooling during self-isolation from a Minimalist Homeschooler:  How to Minimalist Homeschool: You Can Do This!

Join Katherine Peterson and Newenka DuMont, two SENG model parent group facilitators, as they engage you in an informal discussion about parenting gifted children in the time of self-isolation. We will meet online using the Jitsi meeting software, which will allow you to join the meeting on your computer, via an app on your phone, or by calling in on a dedicated phone number.
