CGCC is partnering with Midwest Academy for Gifted Education (MAGE)  to present this free parenting series.

This event has been moved online. Registrants will be emailed Zoom details prior to the event.

What is early college, and is this an option for my child? How do I navigate the college selection process for my HG, PG, or Twice Exceptional Child? What is happening to college admissions and to going to college in the wake of Covid19? Does my child need 6 AP course per year? If my child gets all As and has high scores, are they guaranteed a scholarship at their first-choice school? Come and learn, before it sneaks up on you!

Speakers:

Imy F. Wax, M.S., LCPC, NBCC, CEP

Andrea Buffara, COO, Gamut Educations

Stuart Patterson, Chair, Shimer Great Books School, North Central College, IL

Midwest Academy for Gifted Education, a parent and teacher not-for-profit start-up, is the only private gifted school in the City of Chicago. They focus only on the gifted population/IQ of 130+ and they teach in multi-age classrooms which allows them to differentiate properly. They provide individualized and personalized instruction with the right balance of rigor, without pressure. They top off a well-rounded education with personal communications and partnership with parents.
