65th Annual Chicago Powwow

The American Indian Center of Chicago will host its 65th annual Pow Wow, this year, 2018, at Depaul College Prep, 3633 N.California, Chicago. It will be a contest pow wow, where dancers from across the United States and Canada will compete for prizes and championships. The theme this year will be “REUNION” to recognize the contributions of the thousands of American Indian people from over 500 tribes that have called Chicago “home,” for thousands of years. Today, Chicago has over 60,000 American Indian residents.Join the AIC for live tribal singing and drumming, inter-tribal dancing, fantastic American Indian food, honoring activities, authentic arts and crafts,raffles, the crowning of the AIC Royalty and many more exciting events, on October 6&7, 2018. This is a great event for youth groups, college groups,church groups and senior citizen clubs.


October 6: 11am - 9pm

October 7: 10am - 5pm


Adults: $15

Seniors/Veterans/Youth: $7
