The World of Agates

Agates are considered by some to be the world's most beautiful and varied gems. At least 1,000 varieties are recognized. Doug Moore, rockhound and program chair for the Heart of Wisconsin Gem and Mineral Society, will explore three topics: Agates in Germany, The Mysterious Thunderegg and Agates Under the Microscope.

Lecture - 2 p.m. - 60 minutes - Youth to Adult

Fee: $8.00 per person
