Book Discussion:

Parenting Gifted Children 101: An Introduction to Gifted Kids and Their Needs

by Tracy Inman and Jana Kirchner

An "introductory course" to better understand and help your gifted child. Covers myths about gifted children, characteristics of the gifted, the hows and whys of advocacy, social and emotional issues and needs, strategies for partnering with your child's school, and more. We all lead busy lives; sometime we don’t get through the book. That’s okay! Come anyway!

Registration is required for this free event. If you wish a donation may be made during registration or in cash at the studio to support the venue. Please consider joining CGCC to help us make these and other events possible. Annual membership is $25. Fee waivers are available, contact Newenka DuMont for more details.
