The Perfect Procrastinator: Perfectionism, Procrastination and Underachievement

CGCC Parenting Gifted Seminar

meeting space is hosted by
Nurturing Wisdom Academy
125 South Vine
Hinsdale, IL 60521

Is your child a world-class procrastinator? Or perhaps she’s totally consumed in a never-ending cycle of perfectionism? Or perhaps what you see is his lack of motivation? How are motivation, perfectionism, and procrastination linked? How can they impact a gifted learner’s educational and life experiences? This discussion will address why gifted learners underachieve, how perfectionism can lead to underachievement, how gifted learners can fail even in regular education classes, who wins and who loses in this struggle, and what parents and teachers can do to help.

Come join the discussion. Register today!  Registration is free for CGCC members, a non-refundable $5 for non-members. (Fee waivers are available.) Won't you consider helping us build a community of gifted families by joining CGCC today?  Join
