Unexpected Characteristics of Gifted Talk

  • August 28, 2014
  • The Oak Park Conservatory, Oak Park
"Unexpected Characteristics of Gifted - The Good, Bad & Ugly, and What you can do about it"

Offered by Sheryl Stoller
SENG Certified Parent Group Facilitator, Supporting Emotional Needs of Gifted
PCI Certified Parent Coach
Beyond Expectations: A resource for parents when children's abilities, sensibilities and behaviors go beyond

If your child's most confounding, upsetting behaviors are often unresponsive to your parenting approaches, no matter what you have tried, do not lose hope.

You don't have to have an official test result that "gifted" applies to your child.  If you do, come.  Also come if you know in your gut that your child has (at least) one area in which s/he is hard-wired to excel, to be intense, quick to catch on, and/or compelled to engage. The area could be cognitive, factual, conceptual, creative, emotional, social, spiritual, imaginative, physical and/or sensory.  Trust your gut.

Two times offered:
Thursday evening, August 28, 2014 at 7:15pm
Thursday morning, September 4, 2014 at 8:45am

RSVP required to Sheryl at  be4parents@gmail.com
